Virgin of the Rocks

Leonardo painted two very similar versions of the Virgin of the Rocks. One is in the Louvre; the other is in the National Gallery, London. No one is quite sure which is the prime (earlier) version, but the one in the Louvre is believed to date from somewhere between 1483 and 1486, while the one in Britain's National Gallery is dated to between 1495 and 1508.
